The foundry works is the station for high-temperature work. It is the only station that holds a Foundry, alongside a Dock, so all exotic alloy, superconductors and shielding are made at one. Its dock takes ships up to a cruiser, including the deep miner that carries exotics from the Deadzone.
A Constructor builds it from ceramic, composite, pumps and concrete, none of which needs a foundry to make.
