DEADZONE

The Deadzone is the outermost ring of the map, the rim of the spiral. It trails far out along the arms, and its furthest systems lie well over a hundred jumps from the Hub. Its systems have the fewest routes, shared with the Fade, and the routes out are the longest in the game. Its systems are the richest, with the most planets and the largest deep deposits, and it is the only ring whose bodies have exotics in their makeup. Deep deposits of exotics also occur in the Static and the Fade.
