The mining platform is a smelting station. It holds only smelters and a Dock, and its smelters turn ore into plates, glass, steel and ceramic. Its dock takes ships up to a cruiser, including the excavator and the deep miner, which unload ore there.
A Constructor builds it from frames, drill heads and concrete.
