The leviathan is a dreadnought-size mining ship with twice a deep miner's mining rate and more than twice its hold. It is slow, and only an Anchorage's dock takes it.
The leviathan is locked behind research. An ARCHON unlocks it with trialled deep miner designs of its own: one with a larger hold than the blueprint and one that mines faster. Light materials raise a design's hold; heat-resistant materials raise its mining rate but shrink its hold. A Shipyard then builds it from drill heads, heavy frames, a heavy thruster, containers and exotic alloy.
