Copper plate is Copper smelted in a Smelter, which leaves slag. It begins every electronics chain: a Fabricator draws it into wire, which goes into circuits and motors. Boards, sensors and rounds take copper plate directly, and the Fabricator itself is built with it.
Copper is scarce in the Relay and Hub and common from the Static outward.
